The little birds...

If you watch little birds you will see they are busy and happy! Using whatever they can find they create the most gorgeous little nest.
I would be the little bird with some glittery thread in her nest!
We can be like this. Happily working away with the things that are available to us to create a beautiful and happy home.
All the while with a little song in our heart.

More cards!

I'm possibly obsessed with cards! Writing letters on something pretty is just lovely.  Having a supply on hand is a big thing for me.

If we go away on a little holiday I take a selection with me along with stamps, pens and little things to pop into letters, like pretty tea sachets or a moisturiser sample or something like that.

I try to make it all smell nice with a spray of perfume into the box.

Each card turns out differently so picking which friend gets which card becomes a science of sorts!

Whenever we are away country op shops are my best source of old books with soft images that might make nice cards or book marks. It's so much fun looking for things, old bird books or roses and sometimes childrens books usually are best for me.

Opening my book of cards is beautiful. I would say that would work out $1 each at most so it's a pretty useful hobby. Making 6 into a pack is a nice gift too, tied up with a ribbon and wrapped in cellophane they look very sweet.
