The little birds...

If you watch little birds you will see they are busy and happy! Using whatever they can find they create the most gorgeous little nest.
I would be the little bird with some glittery thread in her nest!
We can be like this. Happily working away with the things that are available to us to create a beautiful and happy home.
All the while with a little song in our heart.

Christmas planning.

Once we hit November Christmas planning starts for me!

 In our home we host a small Christmas with the girls. For some reason they both love this even above the goings on of the rest of the day.

 I set the table the evening before and plan a super easy breakfast. I get croissants and pastries and serve scones, jam , cream, the pastries and croissants with ham and cheese. In the morning I warm it all in the oven and pour orange juice and coffee. It's so easy and everyone loves it.

 This is a table from a couple of years ago. Each year I do something a little different.

 What ever the occasion the way the table looks makes a major impact on the celebration, even on a special breakfast. It costs nothing at all to do, just a little forward planning.

 Memories are made of these little things....
