I have heard from Kelsey this morning as the hurricane is starting to come in. She is one hour inland and her home is on a hill. Her father in law and Grandfather are with her but her husband is working as part of an emergency team right on the coast. The storm appears to have been upgraded now to cat 4. Kelsey is very worried about her husband. I feel very worried about them all.
Please pray.
Thank you Annabel for the update on Kelsey.
ReplyDeleteI prayed for Kelsey last night and will continue to include her in my prayers.
Please God, give Kelsey the strength to get through these coming days and in the aftermath of this huge storm. Wrap your loving arms around these beautiful people and keep them all safe and well in their hour of need. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Much love to you and your family Kelsey. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love Tania xoxo

I didn't get to post on yesterday's lovely writings. As usual a lovely thing to read and all the great comments from everyone. Kelsey and her new little boy have been in my mind and I add my thoughts to those above that everyone in harms way comes out of this safely. Fi

Thank you everyone! There is good news! Kelsey and her family are all fine! She did so well and was really prepared. The house isn't damaged and they still even have electricity! They came through this incredibly well. Thank you all!

We have been keeping in close contact with are daughter and her family in Houston through this and they still have power too although many neighborhoods near them do not.the rain is predicted to continue in Houston through at least Friday! Flooding as well as tornados are main concerns there.
ReplyDeleteHouston is the fourth largest city in the US and a major supplier of petroleum/oil in the country which will undoubtedly impact even more people than just those in that region.
Our church (as well as other relief agencies) has already mobilized relief efforts- Mormon relief supplies roll toward Hurricane Harvey.
Prayers for this whole area are definitely appropriate! Our son-in-law was going out at daybreak to check on neighbors and friends and assess what areas may need help.
Prayers for safety and health. God bless
ReplyDeletePraying! The Red Cross and FEMA say it will take years to rebuild, and it still isn't over.
